Some 12 countries and 21 state tourism boards will present the best of travel destinations and itineraries to tourists at the Travel and Tourism Fair (TTF) which will be organized in Ahmedabad this weekend i.e. from September 1-3. TTF will be organized at Gujarat University Exhibition Hall and some 625 exhibitors will be part of the fair.
Ganpatsinh Vasava, Minister of Tribal development, Tourism and Forest along with Kamlesh Patel, chairman, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat, SJ Haider, principal secretary (tourism) along with Jenu Devan, MD & Commissioner of Tourism – Government of Gujarat will be inaugurating the fair.
Countries such as Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, China, Maldives, Singapore, Thailand, UAE, Russia, Uzbekistan, Indonesia & Japan will be part of the fair. In fact, representatives of major travel and trade organizations will also be part of the TTF, which promises to be 25% bigger than last year.
The fair is being organized with a view to increase the inflow of tourists in India and also drive the policies that help the sector grow. TTF covers nine key markets across the country annually, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad and Pune.
