Located 1 km away from the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport Mumbai; JW Cafe housed at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar is all set to take you on a culinary sojourn to the land of Nawabs from 6th September to 20th September, 2017 with the onset of ‘Fables of Lucknow’. In-house Chef, Waris Qureshi and Guest Chef, Shanawaz Qureshi will recreate the indigenous flavors of the royal cuisine with his clandestine spice mixes. The duo will use conventional cooking techniques such as Horizontal Roasting on Open Fire, Slow Cooking on Open Fire, Cooking in Lohe Ka Tandoor, Baking in Lagan and Dum Cooking on Charcoal Fire.

JW Cafe at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar will offer native vegetarian dishes such as Bhindi Kalimari, Kesar Puktan, Uttari Lasooni SaagAloo Korma and more. From the non-vegetarian front the menu would offer Kakori Kebab, Galouti Kebab, Nalli Nihari, Sheermal with Korma, Murgh Baradari Korma  chicken cooked in a rich brown onion and poppy seed gravyLucknowi Lagan ka Murgh – slow cooked creamy chickenMurgh Golmirch Lazeez – Lucknow style pepper chicken. Besides this, aromatic traditional rice preparations like Dum Gosht Biryani – slow cooked mutton BiryaniLucknowi Murgh Pulao, Raan Biryani – slow cooked lamb leg served with biryani and Shahi Murgh Muttanjan – chicken curry made with mild spices, cooked in creamy almond-cashew paste, will adorn the menu. To complement the traditional Lucknowi curries, the chefs would serve freshly prepared and piping hot Sheermal, Ulte Tawe ka Warqi Paratha Taftan and Khamiri Rotis.

In addition to the food offerings, patrons would be served an array of rich, royal and authentic desserts such as Shahi Tukra, Ande ka Halwa, Malai Phirni and Khajoor aur Badam ka Halwa.
