I am kind of a person who is amongst those few fortunate who enjoy vacations in Goa every six months, and I did had a great time welcoming 2017 in Goa on New Year Eve, but for some, the trip to the Beach Capital of India still seems like a distant dream- busy office schedule, no one to accompany and Straight Rejection from parents. The Lady Baga is adorned with loud bold splashes of color that is sure to take the visitors back to 70’s. The venue is transfixed with cane chairs, hammocks, bamboo walls, chairs with cushions, and then there is a projection of waves that gives absolutely the real vibe of Goa. Everything here looks like Goa.

And yes, there are palm trees too with sand exported right from the Goa’s coastline. The gallery and terrace are recreated as a tiny sandy beach in itself with deck-beds.

The real star of this shack-restaurant is its tropical menu that has been generously peppered with Goan and beach-shack classics. Not just the food, one can indulge in drinks- of course not locally brewed Feni (can only be consumed within the Goa) but can try Hootch and Moonshine, Lady Baga’s creative substitute that is basically a perfect palate cleanser and cashew vodka.
